Blume Handmade Crafts
This is a personal project. The brief was to brand, create products, package sell handmade soaps and Christmas wreaths, and to eventually launch this shop for Rochester Christmas Market. I wanted to make and sell wreaths as I had past experience making them for friends and family in previous years. My wreaths were unique to most locally, as mine were made from jute, twine and wine corks. I also decided to sell smaller ‘side-products’ and settled on hand making soap and other small Christmas gifts. Only problem was - now I had to learn how to make soap! 10kg of ingredients later, I finalised some fragrances and soap designs that I wanted to sell. I named the business, then created a logo and a set of basic brand guidelines. Then I worked on packaging. I hope to sell at Rochester Christmas Market 2021.
